6 NEGLECT The plant was drooping almost dead, imprisoned in its pot. In that dark corner of the room I pitied it, and moved it nearer to the light, and gave it water just a cup. And the next day a flower appeared as if in thanks. It wasn't much a cup of water and a little sun. Like people that small wilting plant had simply needed someone's care.
